Designed as a three piece series, "Disability: Body, Mind & Soul" are examples of the 'nesting' eggshells, demonstrated here as three carved ostrich eggshells, each 'stuffed' with a carved rhea eggshell, with seemingly no access hole large enough.
"Disability - Body"
A first foray into complex electronics (cobbled blindly together from scraps), "Disability: Body", when viewed 'under the skirt', remains one of the most comically amusing examples of, "what were you thinking", "how can that even function?" and "is that a lipstick tube glued to a motor?"
"Disability - Mind"
"Disability: Mind" features a carved rhea eggshell figurine locked inside the ostrich shell. How we got here, nobody knows.
The ostrich shell was silver leafed and antiqued.
